TRIP TO THE SCIENCE EXPRESS

We had the opportunity to visit the science express which had come to Egmore station from Delhi along with our kids.Its a science exhibition on a train organized by our Govt along with Max Blanck Society of Germany,Vikram Sarabai Research Institute&BASF(a chemical MNC).It was anA/C train with 16 coaches each dealing with topics that ranged from Big Bang theory,Nanotechnology,Our body,Universe Etc.There were interactive LCD displays to explain about each topic and volunteers from Vikram Sarabai Institute to give information about the displays.The children also got the opportunity to see and do some interesting experiments helped by the scientist from BASF in KIDS SCIENCE LAB.We also met some of our community members who had come there along with their kids.The exhibition was not only enjoyed by the kids but also very informative for even adults like us.This train will be in Egmore till March 5 th after which it goes to Banglore. The timing is from 10.00 to 5.00 P.M.
